Chrome Divas of Columbia, SC Chrome Diva Patch "CHROME DIVAS" OF COLUMBIA                It's finally here! An official not for profit female riding group has been formed in the Midlands, SC area. We are the Chrome Divas of Columbia and we currently have 15 members on board. We ride all different types of motorcycles (Suzuki, Honda, Harley, Ridley, & Yamaha). Chrome Divas officially incorporated in February 2002 in Tallahassee, Florida. Their mission statement is to give a new name to women bikers; provide unique accessories, clothing and jewelry; raise consciousness about women's needs; practice safe riding; be available for and seek out organizations that need our assistance; and to ride and have fun. You don't have to ride your own bike to be a member of Chrome Divas. We have members who prefer to be passengers as well as members who do not ride at all but want to join to participate in the fun and camaraderie. Feeding the Homeless on Thanksgiving Day Annual Pizza Party Annual Christmas Luncheon The Chrome Divas ended 2007 with a bang! While enjoying close to 4000 miles of fun and adventure via backroads, they also coordinated 15 activities which 2 of them being fundraising events raising over $2,000 and three of them volunteering for Carolina Children's Home activities and in feeding the homeless on Thanksgiving Day.With 26 active members, surely 2008 will be a blast! Before the full blown riding season, these fine Divas hosted a fundraising event for Palmetto Health SC Comprehensive Breast Center geared toward Breast Cancer Wareness & Prevention. Coordinating a Dice Roll with 5 performers (3 from Ohio), over 30 sponsors, and FM 97.5 WCOS celebrity on site, these girls had it "going on" for all to enjoy. Even the Hooter girls made a guest appearance to award the main prize: wing party for 10 people and photo opoortunities. All in all it was a great activity for a wonderful cause.
